Frequently Asked Questions

1, What is OEM:

You (the brand owner) possess the complete product design and technology, and the factory is solely responsible for manufacturing according to your blueprints and standards.

The factory (the ODM provider) independently designs and manufactures the product. Your (the brand owner’s) primary task is to select from existing product solutions and sell them under your own brand.

Thank you for your inquiry. Our ODM process is designed to efficiently and precisely turn your ideas into successful products. The overall process is as follows, with the first step being “Requirement Communication & Concept Confirmation.”

Complete ODM Process

1. Requirement Communication & Concept Confirmation:
This is the most critical first step. Our sales and R&D teams will work closely with you to fully understand your product concept, target market, functional requirements, budget range, appearance preferences, and all other details.

2. Proposal & Quotation:
Based on your requirements, we will provide an initial product proposal, development schedule, and quotation.

3. Agreement Signing:
Once both parties confirm the proposal, we will sign a cooperation agreement along with a strict Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to ensure your ideas are well protected.

4. R&D and Design:
Our ID (Industrial Design) and MD (Mechanical Design) teams will carry out product design, providing 2D/3D drawings and rendering images for your review and approval.

5. Sample Production & Confirmation:
We will produce physical samples for your testing and evaluation. Based on your feedback, we’ll make any necessary adjustments until you give final approval.

6. Mold Fabrication & Trial Production:
After the sample is confirmed, we will proceed with mold fabrication and conduct a small-scale trial production (TP) to ensure production stability.

7. Mass Production & Quality Control:
Once the trial production is approved, we move into mass production. During this stage, our QC team performs comprehensive quality inspections and provides detailed quality reports.

8. Logistics & Delivery:
After production is completed, we arrange packaging, customs clearance, and logistics to ensure safe and timely delivery to your designated location.

We promise that throughout the entire process, you will have full transparency and decision-making authority.

4. What specific information do we need to provide in OEM cooperation?

To ensure your product is manufactured precisely according to your requirements, you will need to provide the following materials for an OEM collaboration. Please rest assured that all information will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.

Core Required Documents

1. Technical Documents:

  • Detailed Technical Drawings: Including dimensions, tolerances, materials, etc.

  • BOM (Bill of Materials): A complete list of product components specifying each part’s specifications and model numbers.

  • Product Specification Sheet: Detailed descriptions of product functions and performance parameters.

2. Physical References:

  • Reference Sample or Prototype: If available, this serves as the most direct and accurate reference standard.

3. Quality & Testing Standards:

  • Quality Inspection Standards: Your acceptance criteria for each stage of the product.

  • Testing Requirements: Such as reliability tests, safety standards, and other related testing procedures.

4. Packaging & Labeling:

  • Packaging Design Files: Clear packaging layout or dieline drawings.

  • Logo and Brand Guidelines: Vector-format logo files and brand usage specifications for both product and packaging applications.

Our engineers will review the materials you provide to ensure completeness and manufacturability.

Yes, to ensure efficient and smooth communication, we adopt a dedicated Project Manager (PM) responsibility system.

Single Point of Contact

From project initiation to final delivery, you will be assigned an experienced dedicated Project Manager who will serve as your sole primary contact throughout the entire process.

Core Responsibilities

Your Project Manager will coordinate all internal resources — including R&D, procurement, production, and quality control — to oversee the entire project process. They will provide regular progress updates and respond promptly to any questions or issues you raise.

Seamless Coordination

This approach eliminates the need for you to communicate with multiple departments. All internal coordination is handled by the Project Manager, saving you significant time and effort.

7. How to ensure the confidentiality of design and technical documents?

We fully understand and place the highest importance on confidentiality, as it forms the foundation of our partnership. We ensure this through multiple layers of protection:

1. NDA as the First Step

Before discussing any specific details, we will sign a legally binding Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) with you to explicitly protect your intellectual property and trade secrets.

2. Physical and Digital Security

Your project files and data are stored on secure servers with controlled access permissions. On the production line, all technical documents related to your project are encrypted and access-restricted.

3. Strict Employee Agreements

All employees involved in your project have signed internal confidentiality agreements and have undergone rigorous confidentiality training.

4. Information Isolation

We will never disclose your designs, technologies, or client information to any third party, nor will we offer products developed for you to other clients.

5. Traceable Accountability

All access and operations related to your files are logged and traceable, ensuring complete accountability.

Protecting your ideas means protecting our own reputation.

We follow a standardized and transparent Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process to ensure that all changes are well-controlled and their impacts clearly understood.

1. Change Request

You will need to submit an official Engineering Change Request (ECR), specifying the details of the modification and the reasons for it.

2. Impact Assessment

Upon receiving your request, our engineering, production, and procurement teams will promptly evaluate how the change affects product functionality, tooling, production costs, material inventory, and delivery schedule.

3. Solution & Quotation

We will provide a written report summarizing the evaluation results, including any additional costs or schedule adjustments, for your review and confirmation.

4. Customer Confirmation

You will review and approve in writing the proposed change plan, along with the related cost and schedule adjustments.

5. Change Implementation

Once your written approval is received, we will formally issue an Engineering Change Notice (ECN) to all relevant departments to implement the updated design and production standards.

6. Document & Sample Update

If necessary, we will update technical documents and may provide revised samples for your final confirmation.

This process ensures that every change is mutually confirmed, minimizing misunderstandings and preventing potential losses.
